Third Door Scores Big in Teen People Band Contest

Third Door, and alternative rock band, hailing from Holly Pond may just have their big break. The band recently won the Teen People nationwide contest for a shot at a recording contract.
The group will record their original song "Little Crazy" on a CD with other groups.
Third Door copeted with five other groups. Teen People readers were asked to vote for their favorite group. Clips from their song were played and votes were logged on a toll-free telephone line. Third Door received 4,000 of the over 15,000 votes cast in August.
Memvers of Third Door are Justing Oliver, 21, drummer; Jason McBrayer, 20 , singer and bassist; and Shane Scott, 22, guitarist and singer.
Third Door has played in a nuber of smaill clubs in North Alabama and have several originals songs to their credit. They are looking forward to having a chance at the big time.
